About the 2013 Production . . .
Come with us to the Village of Ploverleigh, in the Midlands of England. The year is Eighteen Hundred and Seventy-Seven. The early stages of the Industrial Revolution have run their course, but thanks to visionaries such as Michael Faraday, Joseph Wilson Swan and Jeanne Wincent Wells, the Age of Steam is well begun.
Not so in Ploverleigh, where the lord of the manor, Sir Marmaduke Pointdextre, and his spiritual advisor, the Reverend Dr. James Daley, look to the past. True, a sky galleon will occasionally mar the view – that can't be helped. But by and large, Ploverleigh remains as it was one hundred years before.
All of that is about to change with the arrival of – The Sorcerer.
